Kuwait Health, Safety & Security Forum attracts strong Kuwait government backing

HSEFORUMPIC1The Kuwait Health, Safety & Security Forum will stimulate debate on critical HSE issuesMomentum is building for the Kuwait Health, Safety & Security Forum, to take place from 24-25 September in Kuwait under the patronage of His Excellency Dr Basel Hamoud Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Health, Kuwait

The event, which will bring together health and safety leaders from around the globe, enjoys the endorsement of the Kuwait Society of Occupational and Environment Medicine; Department of Occupational Health, Ministry of Health Kuwait; and New Kuwait, as well as the support of the World Safety Council.

This debate-driven thematic event, researched and developed by Health, Safety & Security Review Middle East, will provide a platform for the sharing of ideas and expertise on critical issues ranging from worker wellbeing and process safety to crisis management and industrial fire safety.

Through a combination of presentations, case studies and panel discussions, industry experts will highlight best practices, the latest methodologies and technological advancements to enhance HSE performance in Kuwait.

The line-up of distinguished speakers includes:

Dr Ahmed Al-Shatti, Director, Occupational Health Department, Ministry of Health, Kuwait, who will give the opening keynote address;

Sajed Al Abdali, Medical Department Leader, EQUATE Petrochemical Company;

Nasser Al-Buhairi, Chief Security Officer and Head of Emergency Coordination Unit, Kuwait Oil Company;

Professor Harri Vainio, Dean, Faculty of Public Health, Kuwait University.

A highlight of the event will be a mock fire safety drill to prepare organisations for emergencies, introduced to great acclaim at the Dubai HSE Forum. Other unique features include an innovation lounge facilitating discussions between delegates and innovators, and an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies products and services.
